It can be intimidating to visit a new church. Is the dress casual? How do they worship? Will I be welcome?
At the Everybody Growing Church (EGC) we understand the questions and feelings that surround your first visit to a new place. We make every effort to make you feel welcome and right at home from the moment you first arrive and every time you return.
What can I expect when I arrive?
When you arrive, you will be met by our guest services team that will greet you with a warm welcome as well as a weekly bulletin and guest information card for us to get to know each other better. If you have children between the ages of 5 – 11 yrs old, you have the option to send them to our Sunday school programs. Our services last about 90 minutes. 10:30 am – 12:00 pm where you can expect to engage in a time of worship followed by a bible-based sermon shared by one of our pastors or ministers.
What do I wear?
We want you to be comfortable and feel at home. You will find people dressed in all different attire from casual, business casual to business professional so wear whatever you feel comfortable in and we promise you will fit right in.
Can I attend if I’m…?
Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend. Whether you consider yourself to be a “church person” or NOT we invite all to worship with us as we are a multicultural, multigenerational church that invites “Everybody to Grow”. We would love for you to visit!
Do I have to give a donation in the offering?
Nope! We do take up an offering each service however it is intended for our regular attendees who consider EGC their regular place of worship. You are free to give should you wish as we do have both cash and debit options. Donation envelopes are available at the information center if you wish to receive a tax receipt for your donation(s).
What are Services Like?
Sunday Worship Services (10:30am)
Services begin with vibrant, passionate and unrestrained praise and worship through music and singing led by our worship team. Our sermons are centered around timeless, life changing biblical principles and truths that will help you “Grow” a closer relationship with Christ. All sermons are closed with an invitation to respond to the preached Word of God through prayer, praise and worship!
Wednesday Evening Service (7:30 pm)
Our Wednesday evening service is church for the entire family. It includes I-Grow Adult Bible Study, ConnectPoint for Youth, and Kidz4Truth.
I-Grow Adult Bible Study
Age 30+ meet in the main sanctuary for practical biblical series type teaching. Each service will give you the opportunity to follow along in a bible study journey focused on your growth. Our bible study series cover a variety of real world, real life questions and challenges that we all face in the 21st century. We invite you to take the journey with us to uncover biblical answers to life’s tough questions!
ConnectPoint
This youth and young adult service is held in the youth centre of the church where our mandate is to show this generation how to Connect with God, find their God given purpose/calling and develop healthy relationships in their world. CP services consist of preaching/teaching sermon series, praise and worship, as well as a time to hangout with new friends!
Kidz4Truth
Kids aged 6–12 yrs meet in the multi-purpose room every week to learn about God on their own level through games, activities and discussion. Our volunteers are highly trained teachers that provide a fun, safe and engaging place for our children to Grow!
